Method : Run a program of A/B tests including seasonally or category themed emails in a variety of channels; loyalty program, podcast native ads, new product launches, promos, flash sales and upgrades, with newly redesigned responsive emails (and landing pages) with a testing strategy for creative optimization.

A/B testing with the text only campaigns was conclusive as we moved away from structurally more economical to the content-rich versions. Relevant category content and updated designs 99designs drove up open rates by +59% and click-through +161%.

The email and landing page (above) engages with consumers by inviting them into the process of getting their own logo designed. This initiative communicated the 99designs process from start-to-finish, in real-time, taking the prospect along for the journey. This content satisfied many requirements:
– validates the platform,
– communicates nuisances regarding the creative process,
– builds trust and brand familiarity.
